WHAT THIS PRIVACY POLICY COVERS

  • This Privacy Policy covers SOAR Education, Inc.’s (hereafter SOAR) treatment of personally identifiable information that SOAR collects when you are on SOAR sites, and when you use SOAR's services. This policy also covers SOAR's treatment of any personally identifiable information that SOAR's business partners share with SOAR or that SOAR may collect on a partner's site.

  • This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that SOAR does not own or control, or to people that SOAR does not employ or manage.

INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE

  • SOAR collects personally identifiable information when you register for a SOAR account, when you use certain SOAR products or services, when you visit SOAR pages, and when you enter promotions.  SOAR may also receive personally identifiable information from our business partners.

  • When you register with SOAR, we may ask for your name, e-mail address, birth date, gender, zip code, occupation, industry, and personal interests.  Once you register with SOAR and sign in to our services, you are not anonymous to us.

  • SOAR also automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, SOAR cookie information, and the page you requested.

  • SOAR does not knowingly collect, solicit, or maintain any personal information submitted from children under the age of 13. If SOAR discovers that a child under the age of 13 has submitted personal information, SOAR will delete the information as quickly as possible. If a user is under age 13 and would like to use SOAR’s website, s/he is to ask a parent or guardian for assistance. If users believe that SOAR might have any information from or about a child under 13, or if users have any questions about SOAR’s treatment of children’s personal information, contact SOAR using the information provided in the Contact section of the site’s homepage.

    • We need to send the information to companies who work on behalf of SOAR to provide a product or service to you. (Unless we tell you differently, these companies do not have any right to use the personally identifiable information we provide to them beyond what is necessary to assist us.)

    • We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal processes.

    • If we find that your actions on our websites violate the SOAR Terms of Use or any of our usage guidelines for specific products or services.
